THE HOLLYWOOD COMMANDMENTS by DeVon Franklin with Tim Vandehey

I firmly believe that God wants His children to work everywhere, including Hollywood; we are to be the light where there is darkness. THE HOLLYWOOD COMMANDMENTS- A Spiritual Guide to Secular Success by DeVon Franklin with Tim Vandehey shares wisdom necessary for those who have a desire to work secular jobs especially Hollywood.

I find it amazing that this easy to read yet informative book has been released as reports of sexual inappropriateness in Hollywood are being revealed among the entertainment elites. Nothing happens by accident or coincidence and as this writer believes he has been lead by God to write this book I believe God knew what would be presented in the news at the time of its' release.

It is important to know that you do not have to be in Hollywood to glean wisdom from this book. Anyone who has dreams of success in a career even within the church should know the 10 principles revealed:

  1. Your Prayers Alone Aren’t Enough
  2. You Are The Talent
  3. You Have to Carry a Crown Before You Can Wear One
  4. You Have to Know the Rules to Play the Game
  5. Your Gut is Hiding God
  6. You Get What You Negotiate (Not What You’re Worth)
  7. You Must Master the Walk of Faith
  8. Your Difference Is Your Destiny
  9. Your Amnesia Is Your Asset
  10. Your World Is Smaller Than You Think

Many Christians have become caught up in the ways of this world , we were commanded to be in the world but not of, like, the world. Read each of these principles, commandments, again- it is foundational wisdom for anyone moving into adulthood. For me THE HOLLYWOOD COMMANDMENTS is confirmation that I am doing the right thing in not compromising who I am in exchange for more books sold. For others this book will be a reality check, a reminder that as children of God they need to live as such.  GET THIS THE HOLLYWOOD COMMANDMENTS.   — written by Marsha L F Randolph
