DARK VESSEL BY D. I. Telbat

Dark Vessel (The COIL Series) is the fourth in a series of books by D. I. Telbat that describes the missions of C.O.I.L. an organization out to help Christians in distress. It is a Christian suspense novel which means blood and gore, sex and violence are not incorporated within the pages of this ebook, nor the others in the series. Despite the absence of what most popular novelist believe are necessary to make a book worth reading, I promise you, you will not miss the absence of these “marketing gimmicks.”  I believe the lack of these secular exploits improves the flow of the story line.

As with the other books in the series Dark Vessel (The COIL Series) is filled with suspense, action and of course an exciting yet purposeful plot.

I so appreciate the writings of D. I. Telbat which is why he is one of the few fiction writers whose books I will review without hesitation. I would have been surprised if the book had been anything but exciting. I received a complimentary ebook in exchange for an honest review. Despite my obvious bias I recommend Dark Vessel (The COIL Series); because the book is that good.

I would have to caution you that it would be best that you read the other three in the series before reading Dark Vessel (The COIL Series) . In the following order: Dark Liason: A Christian Suspense Novel; Dark Hearted; Dark Rule then Dark Vessel. Like any book in a series it can be very irritating to read a book and then discover you like the story line and then have to play catch-up.

GOD'S COLONEL by D I TELBAT

    I can not say “GOD’S COLONEL” is the most important book D. I. Telbat has written because I am sure there are many more significant books that will be released in the upcoming years. However, because I love to talk about faith and politics and I am an American citizen this book has added significance.

As believers we know that there will be an end time, we just don’t know when. “GOD’S COLONEL”  chronicles how a new world order can be established in the United States by successfully blending  Bible prophecy with the political ideologies we see developing throughout the world.  

    If you have read any of Mr. Telbat’s books you may be use to fast paced international stories, not so with “GOD’S COLONEL” if you are not a D. I. Telbat fan you will have no clue what I am writing about.

 The characters are everyday people trying to survive the trials and tribulations of life, like many of us.  How do people respond when faced with the need to survive? When you have needs and the government is offering you handouts do you take them?  How does your faith influence your life?

    “GOD’S COLONEL” is an important read for all believers. We do not know the day or the hour in which Jesus will come but we do know what is going on today.  This book is a wake up to many believers, I believe Americans in particular.

“It wasn’t as if he was working for the Antichrist or anything! He was simply bringing peace to America, and there was certainly nothing wrong with peace.”  (Chapter 9 Location 898 of 3030)

WOW!  I am so impressed with “Your Road to Damascus: 6 Biblical Secrets for an Effective Job Search by William Y Higgins. Generally speaking I give my recommendation at the end, why wait,  I recommend this book and would definitely purchase it.

Your Road to Damascus: 6 Biblical Secrets for an Effective Job Search is not about a how to find a job outline but a book on the journey a person takes on the road to finding purpose as it relates to career.

If you are familiar with the Apostle Paul’s Damascus road experience (Acts 9) you know that Paul’s career change was that of lead persecutor of Christians to being one of the great leaders of Christianity. This was not an easy transition for Paul yet it is because he did things God’s way that he was so successful despite the bumpy roads, pit stops and so on.

The author, William Y Higgins, incorporates many Bible verses to guide the reader into making the appropriate decisions on the road to the correct job choice. I hesitate to use such terms as ‘job’ ‘career’ or even employment because I believe this is the book that will help the reader discover what his or her God given purpose is. The six secrets are six biblical principles that will help the individual understand how life experiences and current opportunities can be used to discover the correct path on the road to his or her destiny.

As the author stresses, the road to the right career is a process that will take time however I believe if these principles are followed it will lead to a purposeful life in a satisfactory career.  As I read the book I realized these are the very principles I inadvertently followed to get to discover my purpose and current career. Thus for me and for others who read Your Road to Damascus: 6 Biblical Secrets for an Effective Job Search by William Y Higgins this book will validate decisions made that others may have thought were bad ideas.
