A STATE OF TREASON by David Thomas Roberts

Beginning with the Forward in the book A STATE OF TREASON by David Thomas Roberts the reader will, like I did, have to keep reminding himself that this book is Fiction.
What happens when an entire state, like Texas, votes to succeed from the Union? What happens when Conservatives and Tea Party supporters ignore the opinions of Liberals particularly the Liberal President of the United States? The answer: A STATE OF TREASON.

“Accompanied by his entire cabinet, the president strode to the podium in the blue-carpeted East Room of the White House. … He was a master at manipulating speaking opportunities, and this was high drama. Finally, he spoke, reading from teleprompters at each side of the podium.”  (Page 10)

Ninety percent of Liberals will hate this book, the other ten percent aren’t really liberal.  The idea that a President of the United States of America would ignore the Constitution, try to take away the rights of individuals, abuse such government entities as the IRS and declare martial law after suspending (ignoring) the 2nd Amendment is inconceivable to a liberal but to those who pay attention to what is going on in America today it is very possible.
 Though truth is often stranger than fiction oftentimes fiction can give insight to the truth. I would strongly suggest the reader purchase: PATRIOTS OF TREASON, the preamble to this very plausible action pact political fiction, before reading A STATE OF TREASON. Prayerfully this book will serve as a wake-up call to the citizenry and they will begin to vote for individuals who will support the Constitution of the United States of America.

I cannot sing enough praises for this will written book, David Thomas Roberts is now my favorite political fiction author. I recommend you purchase PATRIOTS OF TREASON and A STATE OF TREASON. Enjoy xxx Marsha L Randolph

PATRIOTS OF TREASON by David Thomas Roberts

    A good book captivates the reader’s attention within the first two paragraphs, an excellent book is when the reader  reaches the last page and realizes he has not done anything but read the book the entire day.  Patriots of Treason by David Thomas Roberts is better than excellent, I caution the reader to make sure you start this book when you have plenty of time.

    Patriots of Treason is a politically incorrect novel based on a “what if”.  What if the first black president created a crisis in order to guarantee that he would win his second term? What if his Attorney General bypassed the constitution in order to destroy the Tea Party? What if the White House manipulated the truth in order to carry out their political agenda?  “What if” the federal government messed with Texas?  

    By the time I reached page 68 of this 299 page novel I could no longer contain myself, I posted the following on Facebook: “I am reading a totally awesome book! Reading fast so I can write the review: Patriots of Treason by David Thomas Roberts. Conservatives will love it, Tea Partiers will agree with it, Liberals need to read it but will hate it. Oh, it’s fiction!”  Needless to say, I did not cook dinner, I was compelled to read the entire book in one day.

    Half way through this book I was ready to move to Texas!  After reading “Patriots of Treason ”  by David Thomas Roberts  you will know why they say: “Don’t mess with Texas!”

Yes, I recommend you buy this book! And please let your friends know about it as well.  Remember it is Fiction but I don’t think certain people will like it!
