EASTER STORIES Classic Tales for the Holy Season

EASTER STORIES Classic Tales for the Holy Season is a collection of short stories. There was no first impression for me but there were multiple thoughts as I went through the book. One of the things I was puzzled about is the title this book is not just for the Easter season.
If I was sitting at the airport waiting for my flight I would pick up EASTER STORIES and read one of the classic short stories that weaved tales based on the Bible. If I wanted to read a story to my grandchildren, that helped them appreciate Christianity this would be the book.
Though some of the authors, like C. S. Lewis, Leo Tolstoy and Oscar Wilde, I had heard of their were many that I did not know. I found myself Googling to discover more about these men and women who I had never heard of, just to see what else they had written.  The variety of writers whose works were released as long ago as the late 1800’s definitely qualifies this book as a collection of classics.
To me EASTER STORIES is a celebration of faith which is part of the Easter celebration, perhaps this is what the title is meant to imply. I would suggest that if the book is ever reprinted this is what they should call it: A Celebration of Faith- Classic Bible Inspired Tales.

I recommend you purchase this book.
