THE STORY DEVOTIONAL

If you saw the look on my face when I opened up the package containing my latest book for review: THE STORY DEVOTIONAL you would have thought I was going to give a bad review. Even though it was a soft cover book the cover is beautiful, I am just not a fan of paperback books. (But it is, after all, a complimentary copy - I can’t always have hard cover books) Now, my first thought was: “Why did I agree to read another devotional”? First impressions are not always the best impressions.

THE STORY DEVOTIONAL -365 Devotions published by Zondervan is well worth the purchase; a disclaimer: there are 366 devotionals. I would not classify this book a devotional perhaps because I am not a fan of them, I would call it a years worth of Bible study ideas.  Covering principles from Genesis to Revelation this book helps you to see Scripture, perhaps, in a different way. Conceptually this devotional allows the reader to “DISCOVER YOUR ROLE IN GOD’S STORY,”  as it is stated on the cover of the book.
If you go to the Appendix you will find a list of the daily devotions by concept. By using this list you can coordinate THE STORY DEVOTIONAL with your yearly Bible reading. For example: Learn the Story of “Creation” which cover Genesis 1 through 9 and are the first twenty daily devotionals as you read Genesis. The story of David is discussed from Day 144 to 159; this is the books of Samuel, Kings, Chronicles and of course Psalms (not necessarily in that order).
Many people purchase devotionals as gift items, I would suggest you keep this one for yourself.   Marsha L F Randolph

BOOK REVIEW: NKJV KNOW THE WORD STUDY BIBLE

A person going to a book store to purchase his first Bible may get overwhelmed by the selection. Over the years I have reviewed quite a few, including a number of New King James Versions of the Bible, I have kept many and given away even more. But, each of these Bible translations offers something very unique and the Thomas Nelson’s NKJV KNOW THE WORD STUDY BIBLE is no different.
So let’s break it down. What does the NKJV KNOW THE WORD STUDY BIBLE have to offer?
Book Summary: This is just a sentence or two that let’s the reader know what to expect.
How to Study: This section, found at the beginning of each book helps the reader prepare by presenting questions to ask and things to look for.
Study the Book Highlights: Through out each book are overviews inserted at the beginning of the book the reader is made aware of what these overviews are. Each “Study the Book” includes “More Insight”
Topical Articles:  There are certain concepts / beliefs that are basic to Christianity. These subjects are shared by presenting 5- 6 Biblical references in which the reader can review for himself. For example: The Trinity is presented in Genesis, Deuteronomy, Matthew, John and Galatians.
Commentary: At the bottom of each page are notes, commentaries of a particular verse or word.  Something pretty standard in many study Bibles.
Cross References: Cross reverences are included at the bottom of the page along with the comments where necessary. There is not a section specifically dedicated to references.
Concordance and Maps: The standard concordance and maps are included. Also presented at the back of the book are information regarding- money, weight and measurements.

Just as important as the content is readability. The font size is good and the words of Christ are in red.
In this world of more than one style of Bible I recommend NKJV KNOW THE WORD STUDY BIBLE, particularly if you are doing a topical study on the basics of faith.

DEVOTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS

I am not a fan of ‘devotional’ books however the title DEVOTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS peeked my curiosity so I decided to review it.

December 8, my mother’s birthday concept: Christmas Lights.  The verse Matthew 2:10 When they saw the light, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. My mother went to be with the Lord March of 2008 while she was here on this earth she was indeed a light to many people not just her children.  The concept and Bible verse are followed by a what I would call a “Porch Story” and the day concludes with food for thought, a mini prayer: “The dark is no place for Your people, Lord, Thank You for shining Your light into our lives so we can see another way, amen.”

This is truly a wonderful book. As a book reviewer I receive many books and give away most my original intent was to give this one away BUT I changed my mind. DEVOTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS is a keeper!

The cover design and the overall theme of DEVOTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS - A Celebration To Bring You Joy And Peace is a celebration of the gift of Christmas. The 142 pages have images that make you believe you can smell the holidays. How can you not buy this book?  Marsha L F Randolph

ANSWERS TO THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE END TIMES by John Hart

I don’t know if I am going to be raptured up before all hell breaks loose here on earth or if I have to stay here and survive with the rest of the world. But I do know there is enough problems going on right now that I have become a Prepper. Either way it is important for every person to have a general idea of what the Bible says about the end times.
I suggest every person read the Bible to see for themselves what Scripture says and add to their reading list; ANSWERS TO THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE END TIMES.

One of the most important questions addressed based on what is happening today is: What roll Islam plays in the end times? There is also a discussion about Israel, people always want to know what happens with the Jews.

I think this book is an excellent tool for study. Though I firmly believe each person must come to his or her own conclusions regarding such an important subject ANSWERS TO THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE END TIMES by Dr. John Hart is well worth the purchase.

The twelve chapters are broken down into unique studies that could be used for group study.  Its’ 189 pages are easy to read. I appreciate the numerous Scriptural references that help me to follow along in the writers dissertation.

ANSWERS TO THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE END TIMES by Dr. John Hart is a very important book to read and I strongly recommend reading it, not just reading but using it to study.  By Marsha L F Randolph

MOVING FORWARD BY FAITH by Marsha L F Randolph

This ebook is available via SMASHWORDS in all formats.

Sometimes a person can feel like he or she is the only one in the room who cannot seem to make things happen. I wrote MOVING FORWARD BY FAITH because I looked back on my life one day and realized I made it.
I don’t have a Masters, Bachelors or even Associates degree like many people I have a PhD in life. I survived because when I was down I looked up. There were days when I did not want to go on so I prayed. There were movements when the words “I quit” were on the tip of my tongue but I just said “Praise God” instead.
MOVING FORWARD BY FAITH is what I did and what I do. This book examines four ideas regarding personal growth and development: Perspective, Faith, Forgive and Purpose. As a Bible Teacher I don’t believe any lesson is etched in stone but should be adapted, within the boundaries of Scripture, to personal goals.
This is a revised edition originally published under the pseudonym M L Floyd. As I revised  MOVING FORWARD BY FAITH I was encouraged, we are always going through something. Read this ebook to help determine if you are indeed on the right path.

A note about this review: Yes, I reviewed my own book, I have chosen not to pay for reviewers who pretend to be a non-payed or unbiased reader. Most people who like books will recommend them to friends but not post a review. I write from experience and study and I share what I know with my pen.  FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST THIS BOOK IS FREE.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER by Dutch Sheets

I was disappointed! I was disappointed because I had purchased this book when it was first published about 10 years ago and aside from the book cover and back it is the same. I am a fan of books by Dutch Sheets and when the opportunity arose to review his book, INTERCESSORY PRAYER How God Can Use Your Prayers To Move Heaven And Earth, I jumped at the chance. Note to self: Check your books before agreeing to review a Dutch Sheets book.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER by Dutch Sheets is a book about praying. (I recently wrote a book on prayer and believe me not everyone prays when they get on their knees.) The reason I like books by Dutch Sheets is because he breaks down the process and helps the reader understand the significance of an action. What I like about INTERCESSORY PRAYER is the author discusses the concept of praying for and praying on behalf of; we pray for a particular need of an individual and we pray on behalf of a particular person or group of people. With this book intercessors, one who prays on behalf of or prays for, understands the concepts of praying.

People who are accustomed to praying: “God bless: mom, dad, me and these three” type of prayers may not enjoy reading this book; it will challenge the way you pray.

There is nothing I could write to convince a person who is already on a prayer team, believes his prayer are good or an individual who does not see the need for intercession. HOWEVER I recommend this book for EVERYONE.

What you will find in INTERCESSORY PRAYER How God Can Use Your Prayers To Move Heaven And Earth is a study on prayer which includes questions at the end of each chapter. You will develop an understanding as to why certain concepts such as spiritual warfare are important to understand and personal repentance are necessary.

I challenge you to read this book. This book is a very important read today which is why it was necessary to release it again.

OUTLAW CHRISTIAN by Jacqueline A Bussie

After getting fed up with the foolishness in the back office of churches I was ready to give up on being a serving church member until I visited the church with a vision I could follow. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond anyones’ control that church closed and I became an outlaw. I decided to visit and not join any church. When the opportunity to review OUTLAW CHRISTIAN by Jacqueline A. Bussie I submitted my request eagerly.

OUTLAW CHRISTIAN Finding Authentic Faith by Breaking the Rules is just what I thought it would be. This book is for those of us who have had enough of religion and have been disappointed by the inhabitants of leaders of the church building. This book is for those who believe there is more to the message of hope found in the gospel than a weekend church service and a midweek Bible overview.

The hour has come when those who want to follow Jesus- twenty four hours a day, seven days a week- to step out of the religious box. Reading this book will help you understand how we got to this point of religious rebellion and why it is important to become an outlaw Christian.

This is a good book, on faith to read, different than many of the books out there on how to be a good believer. I suggest you add Jacqueline A Bussie’s book OUTLAW CHRISTIAN  Finding Authentic Faith by Breaking the Rules to your collection. Xxx Marsha L F Randolph

A DOUBTERS GUIDE TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS by John Dickson

The book is A DOUBTERS GUIDE TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and I think that is the shortest title that the author could have come up with. The subtitle, “How, for better or worse, our ideas about the good life come from Moses and Jesus,” explains this book by John Dickson a bit more. My impression: this book is a reason why we need the Old Covenant.

A DOUBTERS GUIDE TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS is a perspective of the importance of the ten commandments in 2016 and how the message of grace that is so prevalent today does not negate the message of submission to God’s word.

“One God and the Good; Idols of the Heart; Taking Religion Seriously; Work, Play, and Worship; Family Matters; Cherish Your Neighbor; Honoring Your Spouse; Giving What is Due; Saying What is True; and Failing and Finding the Good are the commandments that are examined in this 183 page book. Each chapter is thought provoking which makes it easy to read if you like to be challenged.

For those who prefer to point out the mistakes of others and not examine themselves this book may not be as enjoyable. By writing the commandments of God in a format that anyone can understand some may become uncomfortable.
“There comes a point when honoring parents no longer means obedience, but support.” - page 110

Some parents believe that a child is to obey them no matter what. The idea that the relationship transitions, particularly after marriage, is not an easy one to accept. I know many women who raised children in a single parent household who have yet to let go and have caused friction in a marriage. Conversely, a child may think it is perfectly OK to leave his/her parents in the care of someone else without making sure their needs are being taken care of properly.

I recommend A DOUBTERS GUIDE TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS by John Dickson.

AMERICAN WOMAN'S BIBLE - NKJV published by Thomas Nelson

OMM! If ever there was a reason for a Bible junkie to buy another Bible the AMERICAN WOMAN’S BIBLE - NKJV is as good a reason as others. I received deliver of the NKJV AMERICAN WOMAN’S BIBLE - Women, Godly Virtues, and the Making of America earlier than expected but when I opened the box and saw it I canceled all of my plans just so I could at least flip through some of the pages.

The Bible is HIS-story, the AMERICAN WOMAN’S BIBLE is history as it relates to women the combination of the two makes a great study.

  • Throughout the Bible there are inserts which discuss America’s history. The chapter/topics are:
  • Women of Early America- Colonial Times Until the Revolutionary War
  • Women of the American Revolution - The Nation is Born
  • Women of the Civil War - The Abolition of Slavery
  • Women of World War I - The Great War
  • Women of World Wart II - The Nation Unites
  • American Women of the Baby Boomer Era - Emergence of a New America
  • Women of the Civil Rights Movement - Laying New Foundation Stones
  • Women of America After September 11, 2001 - The Nation Stands Still

There are 70 biographies of women and over 150 quotes from people in American History.

This is a New King James Bible. The beginning of each book contains the author, date, setting, theme and insights. As with many Bibles cross references and translation notes are  present- bottom right of each page. The Font is a good is easy to read. In addition the value based commentary on specific verses are based on the following topics: Bravery, Challenge, Commitment, Compassion Concern, Courage, Creativity, Dedication, Devotion, Dignity, Diligence, Duty, Faith, Faithfulness, Forgiveness, Generosity Honor, Hope, Hopefulness, Hospitality, Humility, Influence, Inspiration, Integrity, Joyfulness, Justice, Kindheartedness, Kindness Knowledge, Leadership, Love, Loyalty, Mercy, Obedience, Perseverance, Persistence, Poise, Prayerfulness, Resourcefulness, Righteousness Sacrifice, Service, Steadfastness, Strength, Submission, Sympathy, Teaching, Testing, Thankfulness, Trials, Trust, Truth Unknown, Victory, Wisdom and  Worship.

If Thomas Nelson continues to produce Bibles that are true to God’s word and include such information as what is found in the AMERICAN WOMAN’S BIBLE all I can say is clean off the bookshelf! I recommend you purchase this Bible not only because it is a NKJV (my favorite translation) but is shares such a great history of American women.

NKJV STUDY BIBLE- PERSONAL SIZE

There was a time in which everyone carried a Bible to church and then many churches started showing the Bible verses on a big screen. Today many people have a Bible as an application on their cell phone or they bring a tablet or ipad to church. I have a Bible on my cell phone, lap top and even on the tablet I owned before it died. BUT my favorite Bibles I have in print form including the NKJV STUDY BIBLE published by Thomas Nelson. Last year I started carrying this very thick Bible to church with me.

It is important that we get into the habit of reading and studying the Bible the old fashioned way.  In the event that there is no internet or electricity you can still read the Word. In addition it is good when to personalize the Word with your own notes, underlines and highlights that you can review later.

Since I already have a NKJV STUDY BIBLE to those who do not appreciate owning a print Bible it does not make sense to want to review the NKJV STUDY BIBLE - PERSONAL SIZE.  To a Bible junkie (there are a lot of us out there) you can never own to many Bibles and every Bible has a purpose. For me I would prefer to be able to throw my NKJV Bible in my purse taking it with me where ever I go: church, doctors’ office, vacation, or visiting someone who may need to hear the word.

The NKJV STUDY BIBLE -PERSONAL SIZE is like its’ standard size Bible a ‘complete resource for studying God’s word” only smaller. It has the same number of pages thus every chapter and every verse page are the same. Maps, images and other inserts are in color just as the standard sized Bible. The two differences are the size though it is almost the same thickness and the font size. The font is readable with my glasses on. In terms of fitting in my purse- it does- I carry a medium size purse.

I own pocket sized Bibles this one is considerably bigger (5 1/4x8x 2); it is ‘personal’ Sized not pocket sized.  Of course I recommend this Bible.

FEISTY & FEMININE by Penny Young Nance

I chose to review FEISTY & FEMININE by Penny Young Nance because of the title. I think it is time women begin to embrace who they are as females of strength and character and not good looks and non-aggressive demeanors. Far to many women, of all political persuasions, focus on appearance in addition to skill. That said no one can deny that the author is a beautiful woman, let’s get past that.

FEISTY & FEMININE A Rallying Cry for Conservative Women is a book about what it should mean to be female but because of liberalism womanhood has been maligned. In sharing her philosophy on what it means to be a “Conservative Woman” the author actually describes the normal life for a female once was before labels and political correctness became the standard.
There are ten chapters in this book: “The Devaluation of Women,” “Sexual Assault of Women,” “Marriage and True Tolerance,”  “Abortion and Sanctity of Life,” “The Real War Against Women,” “The Rise of Islamic Extremism and the Need to Fight Back,” “Beyond Our Borders: Why Israel Matters to Christians,” “Seasons: Work,, Family, Life, and the Art of Balance,” and “A Vision for the Future;” these are nine of the ten. Each chapter is important not just to womanhood but to humanity.

Since the beginning of time women have been strong and independent, in the process of time  definitions were manipulated and many women believed they could not succeed because they were female. In accepting the glass ceiling theory and then blaming the problem on Republican men the liberal agenda was promoted and Conservative women who chose not to accept the stereotypes were ridiculed. FEISTY & FEMININE by Penny Young Nance is a reminder to us all that strong and independent characteristics do not stop a person from being feminine.   This book is an informative read and I recommend it.

THE SEVEN LAWS OF LOVE by Dave Wills

THE SEVEN LAWS OF LOVE- Essential Principles For Building Stronger Relationships by Dave Willis is a how to manual on lasting relationships based on seven “laws”. The concepts this writer presents as “laws” are: commitment, sacrifice, speaks truth, conquers fear, offers grace, brings healing, and lives forever. Yes these are valuable concepts but even in a lasting loving relationship there is more; I would argue principles that may be considered more necessary. To me essential principles, as it relates to personal relationships,  should include: like minded faith rooted in a love for God as the foundation; a unified vision for the future if you are going to marry; respect and appreciation for a person’s difference and the ability to freely grow and change.
Unfortunately, I did not like this book. I personally believe love is a gift from God and the more we love God the more we love others (1 John 4:20-21) Thus the greater a persons’ love for God is the greater his or her ability to display love to others. The author uses examples found in the Bible of God’s mercy and grace which indeed demonstrates His love and it is true that we should show the same amount of mercy as well as grace to others but before you can get to showing mercy to others their has to be love within you. (You cannot give what you do not have.)
God’s love should flow to you and through you and overflow on to others. Perhaps the problem with the book is the title. A better title would have been precepts of relationship building. I still would not have liked the book much but it would have changed my expectations.
As always a book review is just the opinion of the reviewer. I am sure there will be many people who will like this book. I don’t think it would be a waste of time to read it I would not buy a copy.

I recommend this book. I recommend that every church leader in the world read BLACK AND WHITE BIBLE, BLACK AND BLUE WIFE. I recommend every therapist, every law enforcement officer and every person who knows someone who is not being treated as God intended him or her to be treated read BLACK AND WHITE BIBLE, BLACK AND BLUE WIFE. And I especially recommend this book to those who are in unhealthy relationships.

I read BLACK AND WHITE BIBLE, BLACK AND BLUE WIFE with the eyes of a person who left an abusive marriage when the church did not address such issues. As I read this book I recalled a young lady I prayed for at my church who was in an abusive marriage; she left him for about two weeks and then went back, then she stopped coming to church.

I believe the church, though not completely silent, does not say enough about abuse.

Many people think of physical assaults when they hear the term “domestic violence” however most victims will tell you words can be just as detrimental. BLACK AND WHITE BIBLE, BLACK AND BLUE WIFE addresses the issue of abuse from the perspective of a Christian who overcame it.

Women need to know they do not have to stay in an abusive relationship, no matter what religious people say. It is important to know that God wants His children to live in peace and protection.  The author, Ruth A Tucker, shares her journey in reconciling faith and reality as it pertains to her marriage.

I like this book because her story is my story. My prayer is that every church purchase lots of copies of this book and that every church leader share the wisdom found within it’s pages. Xxx MARSHA L F RANDOLPH

NKJV APPLY THE WORD STUDY BIBLE Thomas Nelson Publisher

Never judge a Bible by its’ cover not even the wonderful graphics found on the NKJV APPLY THE WORD STUDY BIBLE. There are some basic things that need to be examined before purchasing a Study Bible.
Of course the first thing is the translation and then the size of the font. (If the print is to small you will not be able to read it.) The King James, the New King James and the New International Version are three common translations, most people have one of these three.
When purchasing a study Bible it is important to understand the focus of the commentaries and supplementary information. The NKJV APPLY THE WORD STUDY BIBLE is as it presents itself to be according to the title and the pictures and then some.
I am amazed at the amount of information, commentary, words for thought and study found in the NKJV APPLY THE WORD STUDY BIBLE.

I really do not know how to describe this Bible so that you will appreciate its’ content. It is great for: personal study; if you are a Small Group Leader or teacher it is excellent to use to when planing lessons; I believe you can learn from just reading the topical commentaries.

For those who read my reviews you realize by now that I love God’s word and I am a Bible junkie! With the NKJV APPLY THE WORD STUDY BIBLE Thomas Nelson has released my new favorite Bible and set the margin very high for any other Bible, regardless of the translation. I love it and you will too; I recommend this book. xxx Marsha L F Randolph

AN AMISH YEAR by Beth Wiseman

It has been a long time since I have read a novel in which I wanted to read more books by the same author. After reading AN AMISH YEAR I can’t wait to discover more books by Beth Wiseman; I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
AN AMISH YEAR is four short stories ‘novellas’ with characters that live the simple life of faith and relationships not complicated by the superficial priorities of world. “Rooted In Love,” “A Love for Irma Rose,” “Patchwork Perfect,” and “When Christmas Comes Again” are the four short stories found in AN AMISH YEAR. The storyline in each novella read was believable and pleasant to read.
One of the reasons I stopped reading novels was because of the unnecessary sexual activity or violence presented.
AN AMISH YEAR is perfect for the weekend reader, 393 pages divided by four stories equals one story a day. Since this is my first book based on the Amish lifestyle I don’t have much to compare it with however, in the beginning of the book there is a glossary of the the Lancaster County Amish Words used in the book (not that many). AND there are some discussion questions at the end of each story- I guess this would be good if you are part of a book club. Did I mention there are some recipes in the back of the book?

One of the things I have determined in the year 2016 is to read more and watch less television if I can find more books like this I will not have a problem achieving my goal. I recommend this book. Xxx MARSHA L F RANDOLPH

AN INSIDERS GUID TO PRAYING FOR THE WORLD by Brian C Stiller

Have you ever prayed for world peace? What does peace look like?  In the book AN INSIDERS GUIDE TO PRAYING FOR THE WORLD by Brian C. Stiller the reader gets a better understanding of not just what peace looks like in a particular country but what life is like.
The Bible tells us in all our getting to get understanding (Proverbs 4:7) AN INSIDERS GUIDE TO PRAYING FOR THE WORLD discusses the particular nuances of various countries in need of intercessory prayer. In addition to maps of the regions and various facts specific to the area such as population there are list of things to pray for as well as a suggested prayer. (Imagine if everyone who read this book prayed the same prayer!)  It is not necessary to read the entire book and may be more effective to appropriate to focus on one particular region to pray for at a time.
Major countries such as the United States of America are not listed, rather, chapters dedicated to specific concerns are discussed. Chapters such as: “Caring for the Vulnerable”; “Prison Ministry”; “Persecution and Martyrdom;” “The World Prayer Movement”; “The Pope”;and  “Finding New Places of Spirit Empowerment”, all of which confirm why those of us who pray pray: that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

This is an important book not only for intercessors but those who understand that we are in the end times. I recommend AN INSIDERS GUIDE TO PRAYING FOR THE WORLD.

BEFORE YOU PRAY FOR ME by Marsha L F Randolph

BEFORE YOU PRAY FOR ME - Understanding the elements of prayer

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24 NKJV

Have you ever listened to someone pray and you just know that the prayer will not get answered? Have you ever wanted to know if God really hears your prayers? BEFORE YOU PRAY FOR ME PART I- Understanding the elements of prayer" presents an overview of what is involved in faith that leads to answered prayer.
It is written in Isaiah 55:11 God's word will not return to Him void this means when we speak His words it will reach His ears having accomplished whatever He has said. Either because a person doubts or does not know Scripture prayers often go unanswered. Why?
In a little over 8,000 words this ebook discusses key elements necessary ito have successful prayers. In examining what it means to be saved, what a father does, the words spoken and the importance of the Trinity the reader will become more confident in their ability to recieve whatever it is he or she ask.
The author does not profess to be a theologian nor does she assume she knows more than many of the well known Bible scholars of the day. What is presented in BEFORE YOU PRAY FOR ME is a well thought out book written for those who believe that the key to answered prayer is sending God's word back to Him

THE CHANGING SEASON by Steven Manchester

RELEASE DATE: FEBRUARY 16, 2016

THE CHANGING SEASON is a novel about a young man, and his dog who is looking forward to graduating high school and going to college. The transition from High school to college is not as easy as Billy thought it was going to be; life happens and for him it happens in an exciting but not necessarily good way.
My first impression upon receiving  THE CHANGING SEASON by Steven Manchester in the mail: I don’t like movies or books about pets. My second impression: I really don’t care about the accolades presented, even if they are on the New York Times Bestsellers list. BUT I had agreed to review the book so I started reading the 273 page novel.

It is a very good book, great for those in Middle or High school. (DO YOUNG PEOPLE READ BOOK REVIEWS?) The dialog makes sense and the pace of the story line allows for excellent plot development. The food for thought story is very believable.

I am not a reviewer of young adult books. I don’t know if my opinion makes a difference to the young man or woman who is looking for a good book to read. (A mature adult you will enjoy it too!) Without telling the story, which would be a spoiler, there is no way to do THE CHANGING SEASON justice.  All I can say is: I recommend the book.
